46. ANEMONE THILA

Anemone Thila is one of the latest dive sites to be discovered in the Lhaviyani Atoll. Offering stunning colours and an abundance of fish life, Anemone Thila is one of the prettiest dive sites in the Atoll.

The small Thila is fringed with overhangs and terraces that are home to blue stripe snappers and the occasional nurse shark. Trevallies patrol the reef bringing terror to the glass fish that gather in huge number over the reef. Anemone Thila is a photographer's dream, and is packed full of small macro subjects. Different types of shrimps and crabs can be found, and don't ignore the field of anemones and clown fish that reside on the top reef.
